COMFORTABLE DYSFUNCTION

The empire of the United States fell apart because we became too comfortable in our dysfunctional ways. We are comfortable with the reality of the bad side of town where people struggle and die just because they were born on the bad side of town. In some counties the bad side of town and good side of town are only separated by a small bridge or railroad tracks. We are too comfortable with training our children to repeat what their teachers tell them, who repeat what their professors told them. We do not encourage our children to think about how they fit into the time and space they find themselves in or how best to live in this multi-verse in a constructive way. We are too comfortable with violence. Innocent children, women, and men are slaughtered in mass, all we do is shrug our shoulders and say how bad it is. The post depression U. S. officially died in 2008. We will see what we decide to make going forward.
