Donovan Walling is a good book to have if you are dealing in or with an
official education system. Walling gathers essays on topics as varied as
curriculum and gender equity. Hot Buttons will make you think about how
children in official school systems are treated as well as how you want your
children to be treated. I have created an open unofficial system of educating
because I do not think that official systems educate our children. I have seen
at least two systems rape the minds of students. I speak as someone who was on
the inside of these systems. Some parents still have faith in the official
