To Be Dark Is Not To Be

My community has decided to hand over complete control of our lives to anyone else. Other groups are using and abusing us because if they do not we would simply die as a people. I have been fighting this wave of disinterest all my life. It is Difficult to function as a being when our community is digging itself further into a pit of stupidity and materialism. Almost everyone speaks about how disgusting we have become, but we cannot get our community together. Our people have chosen to play out two roles, automaton or zombie. This has left people like me trapped in bodies that are held back by our own friends, family, and or neighbors. To be conscious beings is almost not to be anything at home. Black men cannot be gods if they have nothing worshiping them or no temples to worship in.
