Military Job

Someone Is Dropping DUMB Bombs On Black Folks
I heard a woman say that if this young man couldn't find a job, he should go to the military. DUMB

The Military is an institution dedicated to killing, not for resume building.

Show Business

Someone Is Dropping DUMB Bombs On Black Folks
I hear entertainers say that there is no show without business. DUMB

They have it backwards. Artists perform in New York City all the time without charging. The people pay based on the performance. I doubt that you could sell tickets to see an empty stage. The show drives everything.

Do Nothing Adults

Someone Is Dropping DUMB Bombs On Black Folks
Elders are always complaining that young men are just standing around, doing nothing. DUMB

Adults have not created institutions for young people to develop their talents. Elders are lucky that the youth allow them to live in peace.

Children Of Dialectics

Someone Is Dropping DUMB Bombs On Black Folks
I have heard at least three parents say that their children talk too much. DUMB

Dialectics is one of the best ways to learn and discover. It is a free and easy way to get to deeper realities.

Ethnic Responsibility

I did not ask to be born into this black body. While I am here I have certain responsibilities. I am responsible for providing the children like me with as much space to reach their potential as I can. I do not have anything but the systems that I offer, but that is the fault of their parents. I have a responsibility to behave like I am a part of the human family and not just entertainment for the rest of the world. I have a responsibility to treat the air I breathe and resources that I consume with the respect they deserve. I have a responsibility to manage what goes into my body as well as what comes out of it. It is the responsibilities that make the days past. I don't know how I'm going to carry out these responsibilities as a member of an ethnic group that just wants to find comfortable places to ride out their time, but it is my responsibility to figure out how.

Deciding To Stay Alive

As a black man who chose to keep my curiosity and value my mind above all else I am an oddity on the days that I am noticed at all. I actually like the times when I am invisible. Knowing that I will die without seeing a black consciousness, I thought that I should end it all and free myself from this body. One problem is that I am one of the members of an ethnic group that deserves to live because I am a good representative for us. Another problem would be if I was released from this body and lingered here instead of returning to source energy. I could be pulled into another black body to start the nightmare all over again. I have come to lean toward the idea that we are here to fulfill a purpose until we are done. So I will keep on fighting for reality. There may not be much left of me in the end, but it will be alright as long as I stay true to my energy self and tolerant of my ethnic group.
