Voting Rights

Let us visit the realm of delusion and pretend that the voting machines actually counted our votes. My vote still would not count because I am not a first class citizen. My people have been here for at least 150 years. My people could be indigenous to this land, but that does not matter to the people who run this country. My voting rights have to be monitored and reinstated every few decades. The system does this for only one reason, I am dark. The saddest part about the elections is that young dark people believe that they are citizens with full rights. It is why so many of our youth are confused when they are violated.
